Mel the ripper?

I'm feeling good after getting through all of my paperwork and ripping up old bills for up to 1 hour by hand.

My hands were literally burning afterwards.

I should probably invest in a paper shredding machine.

Anyways, I'm not ready to start working again tomorrow morning, but I guess I have to at some point.

So I'm going to wrap up this post, take a bath, read a little and have a cup of tea before I hit the sack.

But before I can fully relax, I need to shut my computer off.

I get easily distracted.

Yummy!

I had a healthy food fit at the grocerystore today and I ended up making this for dinner.

Left me still hungry, though.

I guess I'm just used to eating till I'm full.

I'll also start working out three times a week again.

Time to pick myself up and focus on getting back in shape :)

Anyways, I'm in the middle of watching an episode of Ugly Betty.

After that I'm off to bed.

Terror in Oslo

At 3.20 pm today, there was an explosion in the middle of Oslo city.

2 people are confirmed killed and 15 injured.

Oslo is far away from me but it's still in the same country, so I'm slightly scared.

I also have a few friends living in Oslo.

My thoughts goes out to those who were killed and hurt in the attack.

We've been a target for many years now, but I guess we never thought it would actually happen :(

Hopefully, the primeminister will do whatever it takes to make sure it doesnt happen again.

But with the way things have been going, I seriously doubt that this will be the last time.

Birthday blog

Today is my 23rd birthday and unlike most people I'm staying home.

I'm watching tv shows and movies and answering emails.

I'm going to celebrate on wednesday with a few friends.

The plan is to make dinner and then we're off to watch the new Harry Potter (which I'm SO excited about).

Anyways:

I'm off to mums to have cake.

We're also going to watch beauty and the beast.

One of my all time favorite disney movies :)

Beloved Dior

I did a rather expensive purchase a few days ago and for once I don't actually regret it.

I've been looking at the 5 shadow palettes from Dior because I love the colours and quality.

I paid around 94 dollars for it.

Yes, I'm aware that it's too much to pay for a few eyeshadows, but I couldn't help myself.

I'm more of a drugstore girl when it comes to makeup, but it doesn't hurt to try new things.

I did also buy this amazing green nailpolish at H&M and I painted my toes.

I would put up a picture, but I don't feel like posting my feet online..

Anyways, I have to head to bed and rest up for the last day of work before my vacation.

Never thought I'd be this excited about waking up tomorrow.

G-Force

So it's the time of year when the fun fair comes to town and this year they presented a new ride called the G-Force.

After you've seen this, it's obvious what I'm afraid of.

Yeah!

Kind of scary!

Me and my friend were just standing there looking at those crazy people actually going on that ride.

I got sick just by looking at it for 10 seconds.

But I have to jet.

I have to get up early tomorrow for work.

My birthday dress

Since my birthday is comping up, I was looking for a new dress.

While I was shopping on H&M, I came across this awesome dress on sale.

I wasn's so sure on the size, but I decided to order it.

It arrived today and it fits perfectly.

Excuse the mess.

I've been very busy lately :)

Loving the back.

The dress is shorter and more revealing than I'm used to, but I love it.

I paid £15 for it, but the original price was around £35-40.

Best purchase of the month.

Found an old flame

This phone was announced in 2004, I believe, and I remember how popular it was.

I came by this phone in a phone swap online.

Never really used it, but I just love the design.

And hot pink is also one of my favorite colours.

Yeah, I'm charging the phone, too.

Just wanted to check if it still works.

I can't use it with my current micro simcard, which is meant only for iPhone 4.

But yeah, I just wanted to show off my badass old school phone.

I better get my ass in bed, though.

Its 10 pm and I'm trying to get enough sleep every night.
