Foggy Monday

When I went to work this morning I noticed the fog and I thought it looked pretty.



The not so pretty thing about that fog was that it was a little sign that it would rain non stop for over a day.

I dont mind a little rain, but when it pours down and you can't be outside for more than 5 seconds without being soaked, it's not fun.

(Which was the case when I was walking home.)

Laundry day

It really hate laundry day.

I always end up with a huge loads of clothes that I have to put back in the clothes, and I'm quite frankly too lazy to fold it all.

Most of the time I just throw the clothes in there and when I open the closet, the clothes always end up on the floor.

I am currently staring at this pile:

It actually makes me sad for some odd reason.

Maybe because it's friday and I'm exhausted.

All I know is that I can't go to bed before I've folded all of my clothes.

Bad kitty!

One of my cat's favorite things to do is to roll around in my clothes.

It makes me slightly irritated with the knowledge that she just took a shit in the litterbox, then covered her crap with her paws and then walk with the same paws all over my clean laundry.

Damn you!

Colourful obsession

I have, for as long as I can remember, loved nailpolish.

I'm not a huge fan of the french manipedi (too girlish for me), but I prefer bright colours.

As you can see, most of my polishes are from H&M and Depend.

I've tried Dior and other expensive ones, but they chip and fall off after only a few days.

I do have around 5 polishes from BarryM and I love those too.

But all in all I prefer the cheaper ones :)

I think I wear red the most, but I also have my periods where I wear a lot of black, blue and pink.

I've gotten into purple nailpolish lately, which is odd because I hate that colour.

Trying new things doesn't hurt anyone, I guess.

But I'm off to play some online games at meez.com

My love

I bought my first pair of converse in 2009 and I thought it was about time to expand my future collection of Chuck Taylor's glorious shoes by getting another pair.

This time I wanted to go with a different model, but of course, in the same colour as my first ones.

I can't wait to get these in the mail.

Hopefully in the middle of next week.

I bought my first pair in England for under 40 pounds and I have to pay over 60 pounds for this pair here in Norway.

No wonder I go crazy shopping when I'm there.

Especially at Superdrug and Boots.

I am in the middle of painting my nails at the moment so I better wrap this up before I end up with nailpolish on the keyboard.

Book of the month

I am always looking for a good book to read and I'm currently reading 'Perfect Timing' by Jill Mansell.

She is my second favorite author.

J.K Rowling takes the gold in my book.

Funny thing is that they're both british.

Anyways, I really want to be a fulltime writer but I know it takes a lot of work and creativity.

Hopefully I'll be able to get my life together, at least enough to be able to focus on my writing.

For now, all I want is for these two weeks to pass as quickly as they can.

I want school to start to I can go back to my old job and not hang around the high school anymore.

I guess I'm spoiled with having the freedom to make my own schedule and when I can take breaks.

I'm off to have a quick shower before bedtime.

Bloody week!

The first week back from my vacation was absolutely insane.

I guess I wasn't really prepared for this much work and I've been struggling with staying awake.

It's a bit strange that I can barely stay awake at work, but when I go to bed at night I can't fall asleep.

No wonder I'm knackered in the morning.

I guess that's why this happened yesterday morning:

Yeah, I cut myself shaving my legs.

The most annoying part about it is that I don't have time for cleaning up this sort of mess before work.

Sometimes I really hate starting early.

But I guess I should stop shaving when I wake up.

It takes me at least two hours before I can properly focus on doing things the right way.

I know I'm slow, but at least I'm not grumpy :)

But anyways:

It's actually getting late now and I still have a few things to do before I hit the sack.
