Protect Yo iPad

Since I got my iPad, which is my current boyfriend, I've wanted to find a cute case for it so I could travel with it easier.
So I was literally jumping on my tiny chair when I find one on sale.

They had it in black too, but oddly enough, that one wasn't on sale.
Guess no one wanted to pink case, so they just put it on sale to get rid of it.
Sad really, but I'm glad I got my hands on it.

Another one?

As some of you may know, I like to read and I currently have 5 new books I haven't read yet.
So when I noticed that I had to wait 45 minutes for the next bus home, I went to the bookstore and bought a new one.
I didn't have the book I'm reading at home with me, or my iPad, so I had the choice to sit on my ass for almost an hour without doing anything or buy a book.
I know I'm a lazy person, but I'm too restless to not do anything while I'm sitting down.
But anyways, the book I found seemed perfect for my ''situation'' these days.

Its about new beginnings and change.
Very fitting, I must say.
It was released in 2010 and I'm surprised that I haven't seen this before, since I'm a fan of Paulo's books.
But I'm glad I found this today.

The day after....

I celebrated my birthday yesterday with the smallest splash in the history of small splashes.
I did have dinner with my mum and then cakes and stuff later in the afternoon, but there is something about not doing anything on my birthday that I love.
I wish I could explain it, but I'm just lazy.

Anyways, I did get a few things yesterday:

I got this, along with a giftcard from Kicks, from my mum.
I've been wanting this oil painting of the lovely Marilyn Monroe for a few months and I love it.

I recieved my new pair of converse shoes in the mail as well.
These are SO beautiful!
Two years of waiting is finally over.
Can't believe how difficult it was to find these in my size.
They always had them in the other sizes but never in mine.
So frustrating!
But now they're here and I can't wait to wear them.

I am now off to dinner my a friend.
So hungry I could eat... A whole pizza?
Oh yes!

Flower power!

Week one of my vacation is now over.
I still have two more to go, though, so I am in no way complaining.
The one thing I have to complain about is that it's been raining non stop for over a week.
So that means I haven't been able to use my summer clothes yet.

I did, however, go for a walk friday morning and it was so nice.

A little cloudy, but that's the kind of weather I like.
I would love to see some sunshine on wednesday next week, seeing that it's my birthday and I want to wear my new dress when I go out.
The weather here in Norway is very unstable, so it might just rain for the rest of the summer.
Like it did the summer of 09.
Fun fun fun...

Guess I'll just have to wait and see :)

''Old'' favorites rediscovered

I'm finally off work for the next three weeks, so that means more time to do things like updating my blog.

So what have I been doing this weekend?
Gone through my entire CD collection and started ripping all of my music to my iTunes library.
I don't have that many, but it would be nice to have everything in one place.
Especially since I use my ipods more than the CD's.
Besides, my stereo is probably going to heaven soon.

If you know anything about me, then you'll know that I am hopelessly in love with Gavin Degraw.
More in his music, but he's amazing all around.
So naturally, I've been listening to all of his CD's these past few days and I've re fallen in love with him.
He is seriously one of the most underrated musicians right now and I really wish that more people knew of him.
But no matter...

Over to something completely different, though...
Have I ever told you how much I HATE the summer/sun?
No?
Well, I really do.
I'm sitting here covered in sunrash and it itches like a mofo!
I did some research online and since I'm so pale, I should avoid the sun.
I cannot tell you how much that sucks.
I'm not a fan of the heat, but it would be nice if I could walk out the door for 5 minutes without having to worry about getting a rash.
So it looks like I have to pile on a bunch of clothes in the heat to avoid it, on top of wearing a very high SPF.
My entire neck is covered with red dots and I swear I'm going to itch myself to death.
Sounds so gross and it is, so I'm just going to leave this subject and shut up.

Even though, I had dinner before noon today, I'm going to make something to eat now.
I have so much to do, but I need some fuel before I can continue.

Anyways,

I hope ya'll are having a fantastic day and I will get out of your hair.
