Makeup Haul

So I just posted a makeup haul video on youtube and the lighting was so crappy so I decided to take pictures of the most important things so you could see the colour better.

So here's the two lipsticks I got:


The left one is 01 Rising and the one to the right is 05 Midnight Sun.

On to the eyeshadows:


First to the left is Isadora 28 Frosty Sienna.
In the middle is Rimmel 002 Smokey Brown.
To the right is Isadora 20 Classic Brown.

I did get a few other items so if you want to see them as well just let me know.

Party at Phoenixfm

I am forever jealous of the lovely Vanda for being in Brentwood right now, but I'll be back as soon as I can :)
Last night was such an amazing night with Stick Around for Joy and Curveballs all in one night and I for one, laughed so hard my tummy still hurts.
The webcam in the studio was kinda laggy so when Vanda came on the screen with James and the cam froze, I could not stop myself.

But the show was awesome and the always amazing The Tibetan Tea Company performed live in the studio and there was the usual random rant about free parking, Borat, gay bar and James losing it completely.

Before you say anything, I know I posted a blog about animal testing and I do still buy a few products from some of the brands that test on animals, but ONLY until I find something I can replace it with.
On that note, I actually bought my regular foundation powder by Maybelline last week and I felt so guilty, but I'm struggling to find something that does its job like that product does.

Anyways:

I love using that black Rimmel eyeshadow as my eyeliner over and under my eyes.
It looks amazing and it stays on for a good amount of time before I have to touch up.
I know that using an eyeshadow that's the same shade as your eyecolour wont make your eyes ''pop'', but I like using blue eyeshadows when I'm filming because I think they ''pop'' all over the place.
Okay, that could be misunderstood xD
Scratch that!

So this is pretty much it.
I don't feel like showing you my entire collection.
I don't claim that I have A LOT, but too much than I want to show in picture form.
Besides, it would feel like I'm showing off, which I'm not.

Ouch!

That's gotta hurt.
I can only imagine how I would react if my cat decided to scratch my eyes out.
I know for a fact that I would lose my eyesight, cause she's got some big claws.
She has, however, scratched the hell out of my arms when I tried to give her a bath.
Not her favorite thing in the world.
But I think she realized that it's something she has to do once a month.
No need to discuss and especially with me.
I have been told that I'm a bit stubborn.
Maybe even a little too stubborn, but that's just who I am :)

Epic mistake!

Oh my god!
I remember pulling a stunt like this when I was like 8 or 9 years old, but this chick is suppose to be 15.
Is she blinde or did she just put on makeup in the dark?
I can only imagine her mum's face when she saw her daughter like this.
If it was me, I don't know if I would laugh or cry.

Anyways, we all live and learn from our makeup mistakes so lets just hope this girl does too.

I'm gonna have an early night and head to bed right now.

Three weeks down, one to go!

Only one week left of this course and then I can finally focus on the jobhunt.
Wait? What?
Isn't it suppose to help me to get my focus on searching for jobs?
Yes is it, but here's the rub:
It's just like going to school and everyone knows that I'm not a fan of that.
I can focus so much more when I'm at home and I dont have 10 people around me at all times.
Don't get me wrong, though, these people in my class are really cool and nice, but I need peace and quiet when I have to write applications and stuff like that.

I wouldn't say that it was a waste of time, because I did learn a bunch of new things, but sitting there scratching my ass for almost 6 hours a day, then coming home helping mum for the rest of the day don't give me much time to do anything else.
FYI, mum had an operation in her right hand and she's going to have another one done on her left hand as soon as the right one is healed.
So it will take up to 2-3 months of healing on each hand.
Might be quicker, but I'm no doctor so what the hell do I know?

Just a random sidenote:
Most of my friends know that I've always loved makeup, but lately, I've developed an obsessive collective attitude.
Everytime I go to a store where they sell makeup or even just accessories, I go nuts, and I always leave the store with something new.
Which is why I completely lost it when I saw this collection:


How amazing is that?!?
Seeing that most of these products are from Nars, Mac and Lancome, this person must have spent a shitload of cash for all of this.
That's the new Heaven!

I have to get one of my friends to put me on a leash next time I'm at the mall, cause I can't keep spending money I really don't have on makeup crap.

And funny enough, I hear my mum shouting in the hallway.
Time for me to jet.

Random picture day... Again!

Thanks to Taylor for posting this on twitter the other day.
It really made me laugh.
After seeing this, I don't think I'll be able to watch any of these movies without thinking about this picture.

It's been a long day and I'm glad that my mum's surgery went well.
Hopefully, she wont experience any complications.
