1 more day

Now I'm starting to get VERY nervous.
In under 24 hours I'll be picking up Wayne at the airport in Narvik and honestly, I really don't know what to expect.
It's not that I'm worried, but I don't know how to react when I see him.
Maybe it's just the nerves talking, cause I always get a gut feeling if something's not right.
And I'm not getting any ''signs'' that there might be anything to worry about.

Anyways:
Nothing much has happened this week.
Just been watching 3 season of True Blood in like 5-6 days.
I've been that bored, that I decided to watch a show I swore never to watch.
It wasnt that bad, but it wasnt that exciting either.

But now I realized that I still have some crap I have to do.
Talk to you guys laters..

TWiT overload

I just checked my iTunes and apparently I haven't been listening to podcasts for forever and 5 days.
So, now I'm trying to catch up on about 30 different podcasts that has been building up over the past month.
If you don't know what TWiT is, that's short for This Week in Tech and it's hosted by Leo Laporte.
He's actually the reason why I'm on twitter and the reason why I'm so addicted.

Been listening to his shows for almost 2 years now and I swear on my iphone that if he wasnt over 50, married and had kids, I'd totally go after him.. lol
He's brilliant and has one of the best radio voices I've ever heard.
Each podcast is almost an hour and a half long, but it's so entertaining that the time fly by quickly.

Something that I find cool is that they now have This Week in Fun, This Week in Law and other type of shows that talks about certain subjects.

Anyways:

I'm playing games on meez.com while listening to TWiT #258.
Got 3 more podcasts to listen to, so I'm happy that I don't have much left.
But I think I have to stop playing and get around to clean up a bit in my place.
And I should also clean the litterbox, which I'm always excited about.
Can you smell the sarcasm?
(I smell something, allright!)

On my wishlist

I am looking at a bunch of things online that I REALLY want, but obviously can't afford.
I did, on the other hand, order a new pair of boots the other day.

I've been drooling over these for the last 3-4 weeks, so when I got a mail saying that I could pick an item and get 50% off, I was going crazy.
So I'll get these babies in the mail within a week.
(Damn, I'm gonna be close to 6'2 in these)

I am slightly ashamed that I'm drooling over this next item, though.

A leather jacket.
And the pricetag is £384 or 616 dollars, which isnt horrible, but its real leather and I dont wear that or fur.
Doesnt matter either way, because I could never afford a 384 pound jacket.

And the last thing I want:

The only reason I chose this over a nintendo ds is because I can get a tekken game on the psp.
Yes, I'm a HUGE tekken fan >_<

So that's what's on my wish/droolinglist right now.
I gotta go and let Anna out.
She's been staring at the kitchenwindow for hours now.

Byes xx

Now what?

On Sunday night, after my shift, my boss called me into his office and told me that this was my last day there.
Everything just fell apart.
And now I'm back to square 1.
I wanted to hit my boss right in the face, but obviously I couldn't do that.
So after only 3 weeks of working there, I'm now out on my ass and have to look for another job, which is going to be a total bitch.

I don't even know how to describe it, but it's kind of dangerous when things like this happens to me.
I feel completely useless, insecure and slightly depressed.
I mean, how hard can it be to get AND keep a bloody job?
I'm starting to lose all faith in my own ability to work.
But all I can do now is to keep looking and hope that something will come up very soon.

I'll see you pretty people around.

Where did it go?

And by that I mean the time.
Seems like the days are passing too quick for me to even notice these days.
But again, I can't really complain.
On my way to work now but I have so days off this week, so I'm going to focus on getting my shit together.
If you don't know me personally, it means that I have a lot going on in my life and my main priority right now is to get an apartment in the city.
I'm basically living in a one room basement apartment in the same house as my mum and my nosey ass grandparents.
The new version of the addams family, anyone?
So yeah, I need to leave this house and get not only my own place, but a bigger place.

Anyways:

I'm blogging from my iphone right now, so I trying to make it a quick one.
Don't wanna miss my bus to work.
Done that before, But I can't really afford taking a cab.

So I have to jet.
See you all around xx

I'm a busy bee

So yeah, I've been working a lot since I got back from Brentwood and I haven't really had time to do certain things, but to be honest, I can't complain.
Been unemployed for 7 months, so I'm excited to finally have a job :)
It is, on the other hand, A LOT of work.
Who knew being a receptionist is this much work?
I sure as hell didn't.
Last week was a complete nightmare because I was basically on trial.
I was having major issues with learning the booking system on the computer, and I swear I felt like the biggest asshole because I couldn't figure the system out.
But I finally managed to do everything on my own when I was alone at work on Saturday and I was so proud of myself..
LOL!

Anyways:

I'm off now for a few days and I'll be working Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Going to be a rough weekend.
What I can do to put myself in a better mood is to look at these pictures:

I fell completely in love with that orangutan.
He was soooo gorgeous and those eyes were amazing!
To bad I didn't get a good picture.
That one was taken by Mel, I believe.

Then there was Bailey, the male lion at Colechester Zoo..
Needless to say that I was over the moon to be standing 1 meter away from him.
Absolutely beautiful <3

The last one was taken at The Swan in Brentwood on my birthday.
From the left: Dan, me, Paul, Stuart and Nick.
Mel was taking this picture as well ^_^

So I'm gonna head to bed before I fall asleep in front of my computer, which in fact has happened before.
(No comment on that one, by the way).

Talk to you lovely people laters <3
