Music Flashback

I went through my CD collection the other day and I found an album I used to listen to all the time when I was 14-15 years old.

The Darkness! <3
Oh the memories.
It's a shame that they split up after only two albums,  but the music lives on.

The second album, which was called ''One way ticket to hell.. And back'', wasn't as successful as their first cd, but it was still packed with awesome tracks.

Just had to look up on wikipedia when they split up and it says they split in 2006.
Can't remember it was that long ago.
But nevermind that :)

I better go take a bath before I fall asleep.
Its not even 3 pm, so it's way to early to head to bed now.

Tea for me

I've spent my whole sunday in my good chair drinking my favorite india chai tea and thinking about my future.
Sounds dumb, but I have so much on my plate and so many decisions to make in a short period of time.
Sometimes, I think so much that I get a headache that usually lasts for days, so I try to avoid that.
But it feels good to sit down and just think.
Thankfully, I dont have a headache today, so that means that I didnt go crazy with all of my thoughts.

I'm sitting here writing a shoppinglist for tomorrow.
I'm kind of short on cash this month, because I had 7 bills I had to pay, and now I gotta keep an eye on my visa card and what I buy.
I'm on a budget now and all I can buy is food, which sucks because I really feel like shopping.

Anywho:
I'm recharging my batteries for tomorrow.
Instead of working 4 1/2 hours everyday, I'm not working fulltime on mondays and then like 3 1/2 hours the rest of the week.
Since it's vacationtime there's no one using the gym tomorrow, so that means that I have a shitload of work to do.
Better bring my ipod.

I smell VERY busy days ahead, but I'm gonna try to take a chillpill in between all the work.

Viva La Diva Review

I've wanted to try a lot of products from this brand since I first saw that they sell it in town.
Viva La Diva is a swedish makeup brand and they keep their products at a low price range.
Here in Norway, VLD is sold at Cubus.
I bought one mascara, a lipstick, a single eyeshadow and an eyeshadow pallett:

#2 Golden Eyes.

Domed Eyeshadow #370 Sand Beige.

Lipstick in #55 Nude Pink.
Comes off a bit strong in the picture, but its really lovely.

And lastly, the black mascara.
I absolutely adore the packaging on the lipstick and the mascara.
The eyeshadows look a bit cheap, though.

Pros:
- Low price range
- The colour payoff isgreat
- Lot of product for the price
- Viva La Diva does not test on animals

Cons:
- Cheap packaging
- Limited colour selections

Hospital Crap

So I'm sitting here waiting for mum to get sent home from the hospital.
Not gonna say what she's there for, but she had to go through a surgery this afternoon and she's now recovering.
Just talked to her on the phone and she sounded a bit under the weather, so it looks like she might spend the night there, even though that wasn't the plan.
I would have stayed at the hospital with her, but I have work early in the morning, so I just told her to call and wake me up if she gets back home tonight.
It seems like the surgery went well and that's good, but I know all about the long recovery process that comes along with any operation.

I really don't think I'll be able to stay up much longer waiting for her.
Looking at the time and its just 5 pm.
My sleeping pattern is messed up and I haven't even done anything to mess it up.
Weird!

I think I'm gonna make myself some dinner and then watch Nana online.

Random makeup look

I was playing around with some makeup, purely out of boredom.

I'm not a makeup artist and not even close to being good enough to consider having that as a profession.

But I must admit I was pleased with what I came up with.

 

 

I used BarryM's dazzledust in number 88, which is a gorgeous dark purple coloured eyeshadow with loads of shimmer and Maybellines gel eyeliner on the eyes.

Was thinking about making a tutorial, but I wouldn't feel comfortable having a camera 5 cm away from my face.
So I guess I can put up blogs posts like this every once in a while.

Anyways:

I really to clean my skin, so I think I'm gonna head to the bathroom and put on a sexy green facial mask and take a bath.

Can't stop this hunger

Not THAT kind of hunger, you perv! xD
I'm always eating these days.
I started my day off eating something slightly unhealthy:

After like three bowls of this, I started to feel a bit sick.
No wonder because that's some crazy icecream shit.
So yummy, though! <3
Oddly enough I was still hungry, but I had to take at least a few hours off from eating.
I could feel that I was gaining weight and even though I'm comfortable with myself, I really don't wanna gain more weight.

I sat down with my Nintendo DS and played my new game for a little while before I decided to fix me a little snack.
Here's what I came up with:

More healthy than icecream, though.
I do try to eat more healthy and replace chocolate and such with tomatoes, carrots and fruits.
Not always easy when you have a sweet tooth ^_^

I'm off to mum's tonight for dinner and hopefully she'll have some vegetables with whatever it is she have decided to make for dinner.
I've always loved vegetables and potatoes as a kid and I know how weird that sounds.
The typical stereotype kid hates that ''healthy shit'', but guess I was a bit odd in that sense.

But I think I have to do a few things around here before I head off..

Another one?

Oh yes!
I got my new cellphone in the mail today.
I've been looking at this for a few months now, and I really like the idea of an eco friendly phone.

Also, I've been missing Sony Ericsson.
The phone I bought is an Elm and for some strange reason it looks better in real life.
Looked rather ugly on the net, but when I opened the box it was stylish and sleek.

I decided to go for this because I was reminded of how much I loved SE when I had the K700.
That was an amazing phone and still to this date on of my all time favorite cellphones.
And I've had about 29 phones in like 8 years (or something like that).
But that's off topic!

I've been out of the loop for about a week and a half now and I think it's time that I update my blog.
Since my new phone has a 5 MP camera, I'll be able to take more pictures.
I had a digitalcamera, but it broke months ago, so I haven't been able to take many pictures.
I didn't know that the phone had a flash, so my first picture was of Anna and I don't think she was prepared for the light right in her face.

Look how cute she is.
She does look a bit evil everytime I take a flash photo of her, though.
I guess being black doesn't really help.
Wait...Did I just make a black joke?
Or more like a racist comment?
Whoops!
That was not intended.

I'm getting way too sidetracked today.
Guess I can blame the fact that I feel like shit.
Gotta love being a girl once a month.

This wallpaper covers my bathroom walls and sometimes, when I'm taking a bath, I look at it and think that the fucktard who designed my bathroom must have been slightly retarded.
